Position Summary:

A group of Companies is seeking an experienced Treasury Manager to lead and manage the organization’s cash flow, liquidity, banking relationships, and financial risk for both the construction and pharmaceutical sectors. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring efficient treasury operations, regulatory compliance, and optimal financial resource allocation across projects and business units.

The role requires a high level of financial discipline, strategic thinking, and familiarity with local banking, tax, and treasury practices in Pakistan.

Key Responsibilities

Cash Flow Management & Liquidity Planning:

• Monitor daily cash positions and prepare weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts.
• Ensure availability of funds to meet operational and project requirements in a timely manner.
• Develop and implement effective liquidity strategies across construction and pharma units.
• Manage cash pooling and inter-company fund transfers where applicable.

Banking & Financial Institution Liaison:

• Serve as the primary contact for banks and financial institutions.
• Negotiate and manage bank facilities, overdrafts, credit lines, and loan agreements.
• Ensure timely LC (Letter of Credit) opening, and documentation for imports (if any) and machinery.

Treasury Operations & Internal Controls:

• Supervise payment processing, fund transfers, and treasury transactions across multiple locations.
• Establish internal controls and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for treasury management.
• Ensure secure and compliant use of online banking platforms and digital transactions.
• Support project-based fund allocation and utilization tracking.

Investment & Risk Management:

• Propose and manage short-term investment plans for idle funds to optimize returns.
• Identify and manage financial risks, including foreign exchange, interest rate, and liquidity risks.

Compliance & Financial Reporting:

• Ensure compliance with SBP (State Bank of Pakistan) guidelines, tax laws, and corporate regulations.
• Maintain documentation for audits, bank confirmations, and treasury-related reporting.
• Prepare monthly treasury reports including cash positions, funding needs, and utilization.
• Assist CFO in preparing data for financial forecasts, board reports, and strategic planning.

Technical Skills

Analyticall Skills, Thorough knowledge of Financial Statements and MS Office.

Soft Skills: 

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Languages:

Good command of English & Urdu.
